British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The TW4 E VC PW is an electro-acoustic guitar in the popular Grand Auditorium body shape, an instrument universally suitable for playing with a pick and finger technique. The front of the guitar is made of solid mahogany and the top veneer of figured paldao (Pacific walnut), while the back and sides are made of layered figured paldao. Twenty-one frets and position dots divide the composite fingerboard surface. A convenient lower body cutaway (Venetian Cutaway) makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
A Fishman Presys preamp with integrated tuner offers sound reinforcement. The strings are mounted in Grover chrome die-cast mechanisms and a composite headstock. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the mahogany binding and rosette.
