The Stentor Student Standard is an entry-level outfit for players on a budget. The violin is made from carved solid tonewoods, with inlaid purfling and blackened hardwood pegs and fingerboard. It is fitted with a textured plastic tailpiece with integral adjusters for easy tuning. It offers amazing value and should not be confused with low quality pressed timber instruments that have a short useable life. This Stentor Conservatoire violin comes as an outfit, meaning you’ll receive everything you need to get started. The selected wooden bow is created with natural white horsehair and fully mounted ebony frog. The deluxe case is oblong shaped and lightweight, with an integral cover, carrying strap and music pocket, to make travelling to lessons and rehearsal much easier. Also included is a high-quality rosin and a hygrometer to measure relative humidity and ensure that the levels stay in the safe zone.
