Description
Innovative Percussion Pedro Carneiro Series Marimba Mallets feature heavy synthetic cores – specific to each model – wrapped in 100% undyed natural wool. These mallets create an enhanced fundamental tone across their intended ranges.
The PC-TT Tri-tone mallets are something special. These mallets feature two cores, one on top of the other like a little snowman. The bottom core contacts the bars with normal technique, designed for general-to-hard timbres.
Tilt the mallets downward to strike the bars with the upper, softer core for music that needs a rounder sound with less attack. Tilt them even further to play on the fuzzy crown of the mallet for very soft rolls and delicate, warm notes at low dynamic levels.
The special ramin handles on these mallets absorb more vibration than rattan.
