In 1946 Clarence Leonidas “Leo” Fender created the Fender Electric Instrument Company and changed the trajectory of modern music forever. The 75th Anniversary Series celebrates Leo’s bold and revolutionary designs with special versions of the Stratocaster®, Telecaster®, Precision Bass® and Jazz Bass®. Featuring a unique finish, premium pickups, and an ultra-comfortable neck, this instrument honors the timeless Fender designs that helped shape the world of music.
The 75th Anniversary Commemorative Jazz Bass is finished in a beautiful 2-Color Bourbon Burst finish over an ash body with gold hardware. The one-piece maple neck features a slim “C” neck profile, rolled fingerboard edges, a “Super-Natural” satin finish and a sculpted neck heel for unmatched comfort and playability. The ’60s Jazz Bass Custom Shop pickups offer vintage-style growl, mid-range and clarity while the Vintage HiMass™ bridge increases sustain, resonance and stability. Lastly, each Commemorative Jazz Bass features a special ingot inlaid 75th Anniversary badge embedded on the back of the headstock and an engraved anniversary neck plate.
