22″ Drumhead Made Using a Single ply of 10mil Film!

Evans™ EMAD™ series features a single ply of 10mil film providing an ideal balance of punch, power and low-end. The unparalleled industry standard Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping (EMAD) system allows the player to adjust attack and focus. The coated surface provides more low register and attack.  Evans EMAD Coated Bass Drum Heads are made of a single ply of 10-mil film that creates a pretty balanced punch with moderate attack and focused low-end frequencies. This head is fairly versatile, able to fit right in across a wide range of styles from jazz to metal. The Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system – or EMAD – affects how much attack and resonance the head produces without having to remove the head itself. Think of it like a circular pillow.
