This concept has now been further expanded with the new X700 Triality, created for players who sought to access the timeless single-coil sounds from the middle and neck positions. The name Triality comes from having three pickups to provide even more versatility than the Duality models with dual humbuckers.  Known for their striking grain patterns, Swamp Ash is a very resonant and bright sounding tonewood that is resonant across all frequencies with a lightly scooped midrange enabling the highs to be slightly more pronounced. Lightweight and more open top end, the dynamic range of Swamp Ash is superb offering a percussive quickness when picked hard and balanced sweetness when fingerpicked with a light touch.

The combination of Fluence Single Width pickups and Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker opens up a vast array of tonal possibilities. The Flunece Single Width Pickups feature a clear, present, and authentic single coil tones that are free from hum and noise. The Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker is a 3-in-1 versatile powerhouse, with Voice 1 being vintage PAF sounding, Voice 2 for classic hot-rodded humbucker tones, and Voice 3 for genuine overwound single coil sound. Both comfort and appearance were enhanced with an elegantly contoured arm cut on the top. This modification to the body has been carefully laid out on the bodies of the X guitars for maximum comfort without removing unnecessary amounts of wood. The lines of the X body are graceful for aesthetic beauty as well as for ergonomic considerations.
