The Pegasus
The Pegasus is a 14 x 5.5 6.15mm 7 ply Maple / Walnut shell. The Maple/Walnut combo is a Mapex favourite and this drum is their finest yet!  The Pegasus has Sonic Saver Hoops, double ended B lugs and SONIClear 45 degree bearing edges. The drum is finished in a Natural Burl Maple Gloss, has brushed black hardware and comes fitted with Remo USA Ambassador X Coated batter head and Ambassador Snare Side underside.

The Black Panther Cylinder drive snare mechanism is fitted which allows the snare wires to be incrementally tensioned from both ends of the wire.  Like all Black Panther series drums from recent years this snare comes with a Mapex Black Panther draw string bag which allows you to safely store the drum and protect the hardware and finish when not in use.
