Description
The Rubicon R8a from Samson is an extremely accurate active two-way monitor perfect for use in project or professional studios. The 2″ Velocity Ribbon high frequency driver offers even dispersion with no resonant color, ensuring the most natural, precise audio possible. The 8″ cone provides a low-end response all the way down to 40Hz for an excellent bass experience.
Housed in a shelf-ported wood enclosure, the R8a is powered by dual amplifiers for low distortion. RCA, XLR, and 1/4″ input connectors are provided on the rear panel for compatibility with virtually any existing sound system. A four-position high frequency level control lets you choose the amount of output from the ribbon tweeter.
